The race drew a competitive field that includes winners from the Grade 1 Mother Goose, Grade 1 Coaching Club Oaks, Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes and the Grade 2 Delaware Oaks. The Alabama was first run in 1872, making it the longest running race for 3-year-old fillies in the U.S., and since 1936 a whopping 42 champion 3-year-old fillies, including last year’s winner Royal Delta, finished first, second or third in the Alabama. Find out more about the history of the Alabama in our Ten Things You Should Know.

The Charity Capping League leaderboard came alive with several new participants scoring points last week. Find out who current leader and E Train vlogger Ernie Munick likes!
