Good day Mr. Munick, I always believed the morning line was determined by the track master, just as a guide for the public to have a better understanding of each horses past performance record and odds of winning or at least positioning in each race. The public however, controls the para mutual which is nothing more than where the public decides to place their money.. Im currently in the middle of writing my first book titled “5 Minutes To Post”, In my book I explain how the morning line is determined. I appreciate your perspective on matching the post time line odds to the morning line to determine weather or not the track master is on point. Great observation, Thanks
