What’s Next for 2014 Breeders’ Cup Starters
By Dana Byerly, Hello Race Fans Co-founder
We’re back and ready to track the 2014 Breeders’ Cup starters through the end of the year! Now that the dust is starting to settle we’re getting a better idea of who will be back for 2015 and who will be retired.
Just like in our 2013 tracker we’ve listed all of this year’s Breeders’ Cup starters, which is not to say that every starter will have an update. In previous years (2012, 2011) we only listed starters with an update.
Curious about how Breeders’ Cup starters have fared in post-BC races in the same year? Last year we tracked same year post-BC “run backs” (starts) at our sister site, Raceday360.com, and were surprised by how many BC starters made another start during 2013. We then looked at how same year BC runback starters had fared over the previous five year period to determine what races produced the most winners (or in some cases, no winners!). Will this year’s Breeders’ Cup runback starters follow the same trends? Stay tuned!

We’ll keep this updated through the end of the year as we spot or receive updates, check back often!
