Congratulations to Lookin at Lucky and his connections, and congratulations to those of you who cashed tickets! Neither Super Saver or Lookin at Lucky are going to the Belmont, but it looks as though it should be a full competitive field. Perhaps the most shocking performance came from First Dude, who looks to be pointed towards the Belmont. Be sure to check out the stunning slide show of the race from the New York Times.
Things will be a little quiet around here this week as we do a little house-keeping and start to gear up for summer racing. Speaking of which, Monmouth Park is having it’s annual free Survival at the Shore contest and registrations ends this coming weekend on Saturday May 22. With both the purse increases and Super Saver and Lookin at Lucky likely in the Haskell you don’t wanna miss this year’s contest!
