Summertime, and the winning is easy, at least that’s how the majority of last weekend’s winners made it look! Reigning Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra, Devil May Care, Vineyard Haven, Twirling Candy, Usual QT and Evening Jewel all turned strong efforts with relative ease. Several interesting 2-year-olds distinguished themselves this weekend too, including the Schuylerville winner Le Mi Geaux, the Sanford winner Maybesomaybenot and debut maiden winner Wine Police.
