I’m Adam Wiener and I’m a Co-Founder of Hello Race Fans. Thanks for coming to the site!
I’m a digital and traditional media veteran…and a big fan of the sport of kings (despite an allergy to horses).
I’ve been a Senior Producer in network television news (CBS News), an Executive Producer of a major news site (CBSNews.com), a General Manager of a health network (Healthology), a Senior Vice President of a large-scale web operation (iVillage/NBC Universal Digital), and a Chief Operating Officer of a well-funded start-up (driverTV.com).
But one my most cherished positions was that of student. My teacher was my Grandfather (Poppy Ben), the institution of higher learning was Belmont Racetrack, and the curriculum was Horse Racing. The year was 1970. (Read more: Facebook TRNY Group member of the week #53.)
I was born in Coney Island, received a Journalism BA from the University of Rhode Island and now live in “upstate” Manhattan with my massage therapist wife.
I can also be found locked in a handicapping palace/cell (determined by winnings) with Dana Byerly in Saratoga during the opening week of the meet.
